In Uniform

Corey took these pictures at the old Katie Train Depot downtown and in his parents backyard.

Performing!

Em waited a long time to be on a dance team! Here she is performing during half-time and during Victory Line before the first game.

Happy Anniversay

On June 2nd, Corey and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary. We took this picture at a wedding we attended Memorial weekend.

Spring Break

We stayed around home for Spring Break this year. We did go to a local lake one day. Corey, Nathan, and Robert enjoyed the fishing while Em enjoyed what she does best..sleeping!

Emily

Emily has been dancing since she was 3--13 years! These are pictures from recital and from Floorshow. During Floorshow, the new Flashes are presented to the audience individually. You can see how proud we all are, even Nathan. :-)

Nathan

When you're 12, you get to do lots of things you like..such as playing baseball and playing with your dog!

Birthdays

We celebrate lots of birthdays in April and May! This year, Emily turned 16 and Nathan 12.

Confirmation

Nathan was confirmed in the Methodist faith on May 11. One of the confirmands' first official duties is to serve communion to the rest of the congregation. This was the "picture of the week" for our church. We took some family pictures too.

The "Terrorist"

We call Espn "little terrorist" because she is always tormenting poor Sassy!

Awards Assembly

Nathan received the Principal's Excellence Award for the Fall and Spring semesters as well as for the entire school year. He had straight A's and all E's the whole year.

A New Flash

Last night, Emily tried out for Greenville High's Flaming Flash dance team, the world's oldest drill team. She made it! Her good friend Lexie did too, and their good friend Katie made Colonel! Friday night football, here we come!!!

A Boy and his Dog

We promised Nathan a dog when we moved. Today, it finally happened. We went to Sulphur Springs to pick out a puppy to bring home in March. When they told us we could bring her home today, how could we tell Nathan no?! Here he is after he has decided on the one and then on the ride home. Lastly, meet Espn (pronounced like Aspen only with and E). Isn't she adorable?! Her full name is Espn Ranger Butcher and she is a miniature schnauzer. Remember Nathan is quite the sports fan.

Dreamin' of the Future

When you know people, you get to do fun things! Miss Texas was passing through and let Em and her friend Lexie wear the crown. Becca said it must be Em's destiny 'cause she could take off the crown without looking and put it on someone else. Aren't they beautiful?!
